ITEM:  Vaseline Glass Table Centrepiece - 'Juno'

MAKER: August Walther & Söhne, Germany

DESCRIPTION: An exquisite art deco glass centrepiece illustrated in Walther's catalogue for 1935 as 'Juno'.  This is the scarcer  'Arabella' flower frog, a one piece with integral frog, rather than the figure and separate flower block which is more commonly found.  The matching Juno float bowl is most striking, supported by 6 feet, each frosted,  which continue into the panelled design of the otherwise polished bowl.  Measurements: Lady 7" high, and a 3.25" diameter base.  Bowl 3" high, 11.5" wide across the rim.

CONDITION:  Very good.   The figurine is in good condition apart from some fleabite nibbles on the underside base rim, not noticable when placed in the bowl. Bowl is in very good condition bearing a chip on one foot only.
