ITEM:    Art deco glass Pelican Flower Frog Set (Ref. 002)

MAKER: August Walther & Sohne, Germany 1930s

DESCRIPTION:   A wonderful, scarce example of August Walther & Sohne's 'Pelikan' set. In three parts, the pelican figurine, flower frog and fabulous, very rarely seen 'Oralit' float bowl.  The figurine depicts two pelicans on rocks, and measures 6 inches high. The float bowl, supported on three feet, is  3.5" high with a 12" diameter rim. The outer rim is decorated with a beautiful shell pattern. 

This is a fantastic set to add to any collection.

CONDITION:   Very good, slight shade difference between the flower frog and figurine. Couple of minor fleabites on the outer rim of the flower frog, and to the feet of the bowl, commensurate with age and in no way detracts from its overall appearance for display.
