ITEM:    Figural Glass Bird Flower Frog  (Ref 012)

MAKER:  August Walther & Söhne, Germany 

DESCRIPTION:  This set comprises a spectacular fische bowl, Seagull on the crest of a wave, and matching flower frog.  The figurine and frog are fully frosted, and are beautifully contrasted with the clear polished bowl.  The seagull is 8.75" high assembled in the flower holder. 

This is one of the rarer statuettes to be found, and is definitely the most striking.

CONDITION:  Very good. The seagull has a tiny stress fracture on the tip of one wing which is very common in these particular pieces, also an intact crack in the clear base, hidden when assembled and totally secure. Flower frog has 3 small sliver chips within the circular outer rim, they are hard to see. The bowl is in good condition.
